Our mission is to develop a new approach for evaluating how environmental stressors impact public health in urban areas, through community-based participatory research within the Detroit area.
DVERSE is a multi-disciplinary team of investigators, developing effective engagement strategies among environmental scientists, health professionals and community residents and leaders. The outcomes are to enhance quality of life and contribute to the development of responsible public policy.
Who are we?
The DVERSE group was founded in 2014 and is supported through the CURES Center and Wayne State University.
